Hearing a crunching sound from front end

I have a '06 AWD with 86K miles. Started to hear a crunching sound from front end when I first start driving - has happened both driving straight, turning, backing up and going forward.

Dealer changed starter last week. They said they were going to drop the steering to get to the starter. Car steers fine/tracks straight. Not sure it is from that. Could just be coincidental.

After initial crunch, I don't hear it again until it has been parked and sitting for a while.

Any ideas? Could it be LCA bushings? Something in AWD system?
