Hey all I just picked up a set of Flowmaster headers for my 2006 Chrysler 300 SRT8 and after they arrived I put the gaskets on the headers and a few of the ports were slightly smaller and all of them were uneven (not perfectly D-Shaped).
So I took my dremel, removed the ceramic coating on all the ports, and gasket matched them perfectly. (why would I do this you ask) because I want the absolute maximum amount of flow from these headers and in my opinion this is how they should have arrived.
My question is (aside form taking them down to a shop to spend hundreds re-coating the entire header) what brand of ceramic coating is the best to replace what I removed. I did some searching and I found too many to list and was wondering if they are all the same or is one better than the other?
