Hey guys Im going to be doing an iPad mini setup in my 300 and android nexus 7 tablet in the challenger. Im going to have a few variations the float mount wireless and the slider style with wireless charging the nexus. The Nexus will be paired with an aftermarket unit for audio using app remote only on Sony GS model radios. SonyMEX-GS610BT unit it a great unit for performance and price point. They retail for 179.99 and come loaded with great features. If you have to have HD Radio you can use the Sony MEX-GS810BT unit but cost $60.00 more for just HD Radio( not worth the extra $60 IMO). I have the iPad mini now just waiting to pickup a nexus 7 to start working on that one with the challenger. The challenger bezel is a bit to small for using the iPad mini. unless you relocate the a/c controls then its doable. In the 300,charger and magnum it a little easier to move the a/c controls down. I will be working on these to perfect the tablet options for our cars. Making a more affordable options for those who cant spend $1200 for a custom shop to do them. To do it right you have to use quality materials to construct and finish ABS bezel. Its not as forgiving as metal work using bondo to hide all imperfections. The goal is also to have a removal tablet. So it not a permanent fixture in the car. Below is some pictures of the different dash bezels that comes in our cars.
