FOR SALE Kw v2 pn: 15227016

I have a used set of KW V2 that I had on my 05 Magnum RT, PN 15227016. I sold my magnum in 2010 and had hope to pick up another LX sometime but I bought a challenger SRT8 last year. I estimate they have between 15-20,000 miles on them. So, I would suggest a reubuild from KW. I contacted KW in Jan 2015 and this is their response charge and service:

"Basic overhaul cost on a V3 and some V2 units is $160.00 rate per damper. To begin this process I will need you to complete a tech sheet with your damaged dampers ART number, your information, and your vehicle information. I have included our non-warranty information, tech sheet, and diagrams for you to reference while filling out the tech sheet. I have also included a photo of how the strut should be sent in bare. It may not be an exact representation of your strut but this is how we would like to receive the damper. Once we have received the tech sheet we will review the information and a return number will be assigned prior to sending in your dampers. With the amount of packages and shipments at KW North America any parts sent without an RMA number will be sent back to the original address the consumer shipped from."

Previous communications from KW on what the overhaul covers:
This includes Inspection, cleaning, hydraulic fluid change, new seals, and labor.Extra parts beyond what is listed above will have an extra charge. V1 and some V2 units use inserts, and the price changes depending on application".

Since it would cost at least $640.00 for KW to overhaul the dampeners and a brand new set costs between $1795.95-$1999.88 plus shipping. I am asking $400 plus shipping within the 48 states plus 3% paypal fee. I can email you KW's tech form and instructions but shipping to KW for service would have to be taken care of by the buyer (this would prevent any miscommunication). The kit includes the springs, perches and spanner wrenches. The rears dampeners also have the newer style bushings with steel spacers to prevent lateral sliding of the dampener.

To rebuild all 4, that would be $640.00 plus my $400, that's just a little over $1000 total for practically new KW V2's.

Thanks,
scott
