I will be relocating to Detroit in the near future and am worried my RWD LX may not cut during the winter months. From what I've read on these forums, these cars will be fine with a good set of 18" winter wheels and tires. What worries me is the ground clearance when the snow piles up (6" or higher). Do I need to go out and buy a 4x4 truck or SUV to get over snow or will I be able to just push through with a good set of winter tires?
If anyone is from Detroit and can chime in about winter weather it would also be much appreciated!
