I have a 2006 SRT8 Magnum that needs a cat replaced. I bought a used set of mid pipes off of a SRT Challenger but when I got the car up on jack stands realized the pipes look the same but the O2 sensors are in different locations. On my Magnum they are behind the cats but on the new mid pipes they are in the middle of the cat. I am starting to wonder if I possibly got 6.4L mid pipes instead of 6.1L? Or maybe they moved the location at some point in the middle years?
I have searched everything I can think of on the forum but can't find any threads telling me if these mid pipes I now have will work or if I need to keep looking. Thanks in advance for any help.
