When I bought my 2013 Charger SRT8 last month, I noticed that the tips stuck out an inch or so from the bumper. This seemed odd to me coming from a Camaro SS which didn't stick out that far. My guess is that this was to help with cabin noise and drone based on a few posts I read where extending the tip fixed those issues.
I had my Zoomers catback installed a few days ago and noticed the top of the tips sit flush with the bumper. I pointed it out to the exhaust shop when they were installing, but they couldn’t get it to move out beyond the bumper. From other install pictures, it appears they are flush, but it's hard to say from a 2D picture. Is this normal for the Zoomers that come with tips?
By the way, the sound is great with these. Much closer to what I came from in my previous Camaro.
