Well guys and gals I don't post here much but I do have some credibility on some other forums, but either way believing a post like this one is in your best interests!
I recently purchased an unlocked Trinity for a great deal from an awesome member here Larry (TNCHARGER), he was a man of his word and shipped the Trinity fast and in the shape as described. Unfortunately when I received the tuner it turned out to still be locked to a vehicle he no longer owns and now unfortunately became an expensive paperweight to me! This is not an unfamiliar story and many a member here or customer of a used Diablo tuner have purchased locked tuners never to hear from the seller again and left to fork over hard earned money to get the machines unlocked!
This was not the case for me... when I contacted Larry about the error he was quick to apologize and offer me options from a refund to a fix, I chose the fix. Larry setup with AJ (Hemituner) to unlock the tool and get me back in business, he wanted me to ship the tool and give him the receipt for shipping, he would pay any cost incurred to unlock and return ship to me. I shipped the tuner and refused to send him the invoice as imo he was being a gent unlocking it in the first place, what's $10-15 to ship it out... Larry Paypal'd me $25 anyway for shipping and my time... scholar!
Next I got an email saying AJ had not received my Trinity.. honestly this could have been a chance for AJ to gain a free Trinity or Larry to get one back as my wife didn't insure it correctly... but once again Larry and AJ proved they are both stand up guys with no hidden agenda and found the tuner... awesome!
I received the tool back a few days ago, unlocked undamaged and at no cost to me at all... what beat the tool back was a gauge pod mount for the Trinity as I had mentioned originally that there was no mount with it, turns out there never was and it was my confusion, I didn't ask for one nor did I expect one.. however I received one he found for me free of charge...
Got to say a huge thanks to Larry and AJ for fixing this up... it's unfortunate that many deals are marred on here by people who don't do the right thing when it comes to sales, I try not to doubt people and I usually am lucky, this was no exception... thanks again guys and to anyone considering anything from TNCHARGER and HEMITUNER, don't doubt their word, great guys through and through!
SIDE NOTE... my wife purchased me a gauge pod mount unbeknownst to me after I found there wasn't one, it arrived yesterday... pay it forward dictates that any member here that needs one simply PM me and I will send it out to you free of charge, I only ask you find one thing you no longer use LX related or otherwise and post it up for other members here and do the same.
