Acorns in the Hood

I can't believe that rodents have put acorns INSIDE the hood of my SRT 392. No holes on the underside of the hood are big enough to get them out. My dealer thinks cutting an exit hole to get them out (under the liner) would not effect anything, then seal all back up.

It's seriously annoying!
