What a week. Street Car Super Nationals at Las Vegas had 500+ cars. Alex qualified in top ten in Non-Electronics class and made it to the 4th round. The last round we were in happened at 8:00 PM (after last running at 10:00 AM, 10 hours is a long time to wait between elimination rounds but there were so many cars!). Temp was 47 degrees and it was tough to dial. Oh well, we won three rounds against some awesome racers who came from all over the US and Cananda. Alex ran a 10.26 on Wednesday in testing and then bettered that with a 10.25 on Friday. Sixty foot was in the 1.33-1.35 range all weekend. We marked where the wheels came down and the car now carries the wheels halfway to the 60 foot cone. Not bad for a car that weighed 4,050 pounds on the scale after the photo below was taken.
