So I installed the getrag diff with HHP carbon clutches in my 13 Challenger RT auto this past weekend and everything seems fine but I worry a lot.
I did the install in my garage on jack stands pretty much by myself and had a hell of a time getting the RT axles out and the SRT axles in the new diff. Anyways after putting a few miles on it I noticed there is a 1/8" - 3/16" gap between the axle flanges and the diff/seals. I can grab the axles and move them in and out about 3/16" but they seem to be locked in. I did install new c clips and axle nuts on the used axles to be on the safe side. There are no leaks and no noise but are the axles supposed to have that much play in them?
Next question is about torque specs. I used the coupler from my RT on the getrag until the SRT coupler arrives, I also used the pink bolts on the coupler for strength. My question is what are the torque specs on the coupler bolts? I found some info on another forum but wanted to double check everything before I take it to work which is 2 hrs round trip on the interstate.
