Like many other LX forum members, I heard the sound clips and saw the price, and I was sold. I ordered directly from the site, and a set of pipes with the magnaflow glass packs were sent to me promptly.
I loved the sound this simple mod made, and it made room for my, admittedly, oversized dual wall stainless rolled tips that I think look great on my 300. Unfortunately, the interior drone between 1800 and 2200 rpm became annoying to my wife. I didn't want to spend a lot on something that didn't add a whole lot of performance for the dollar...cough, cough, corsa, just to get ride of that drone.
After hours of searching, I finally came up with a mod: J pipes (honestly closer to a U shape). Specifically, 2.5" and 26.5" long. A local shop was kind enough to humor me, and installed them to my spec.

These pipes are connected to the exhaust after the mufflers, and on the blastin bobs kit at the bends. Notice that they are capped at the end and not connected back on to the pipe.
