Hey everyone shout out from UAE I hope this thread gets a response
2009 Dodge Charger 3.5l /sxt RWD 145k / kms ,, 90k / miles
Mint condition mechanically.
Runs on oem rims / arms / shocks, suspension / etc
i have been trying to hunt this vibrating ghost from two years now with no results!
Drives smooth up to 100kmh then I start to feel the shimmy/vibration in the steering and I can literally see my my dash board and the empty passenger seat vibrating as well , car swerves a bit to the right on speeds above 120 kmh. Vibration does reduce a bit when going faster but does not go away.
+ when braking from high speeds vibration occurs
-Tires changed 5 months ago perillis 255/55 r18 , with no result
-Took the car several times for hunter road force balance , with no result
-visually inspected car bottom by myself and other mechanics and nothing looks wrong.
I'm suspecting
-hub(wheel) bearing
-unequally or over torqued lugnuts
What should I add on my suspect list descending from low cost fix
