I was at the Thursday VMP T&T before the Friday MSHS race Friday...my car was running consistent 11.5xx all morning. The new Mickey Thompson ET Street "R" drag radials were sticking to the track like they were part of it. All my 60's were 1.6xx with one 1.600. I could smell the SS class trophy..:rock:
I did a couple of data logs for AJ (Hemituner) to check my tune. He said everything looked great and he adjusted the A/R slightly. I installed the tune and went back for another log run..did I mention how well the MTs were sticking?...
Well, they stuck so well the inside of my Getrag differential turned to scrap metal when I launched...:panic:.....the MSHS race was over for me at this point....so I thought..
Chris Harrington (Legmaker) steps up and says I can use his hemi powered Durango to get my points in the super stock class and compete in the bracket race. The rules let you substitute another vehicle for one race day as long as it is a Hemi Mopar...
This is how Chris is. He will bend over backwards to help out. He is like this with his LMI intake business...service second to none..if you are considering a CAI call Chris and he will help you get the correct LMI model to fit your needs...I have the LMI True CAI as do many of the class winners in the MSHS races..
